I'm reading Mitch Albom's book 'Have a Little Faith', early days so I can't comment yet. I read his 'Tuesdays with Morrie' and got me to tears is so beautiful. So this is the second book I read.
I would like to share a passage from the book, a conversation between Mitch Albom and his Rabi when he was still a teenager. The Rabi asks him if he thought his parents were perfect, and Mitch, as a teenager replies that they're not perfect but they don't need improvement. Following this, the Rabi says that this saying is very insightful because... and I quote:-
"Because it means you are willing to accept people as they are. Nobody is perfect. Not even mum and dad and that's okay"
It is okay, indeed.
